I was born and raised in Westport/Fall River, MA. In 2017 I moved to Colorado and in 2018 I discovered I was pregnant and was overjoyed, motherhood had always called me. I soon realized that when it came to preparing for birth, I was pretty clueless. I had no family close-by and only a birth partner as new and clueless as myself. But as an artist and avid yoga practitioner I wanted my birth experience to be spiritual and empowering and felt that I had the tools to make this happen. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned and I left my birth feeling traumatized, ignored, and insecure in my mothering abilities. I realized that this was no person's fault, or even a single hospital's fault, but instead an entire system that is mostly profit based and does not always respect and empower the birthing person. In May 2022 my family and I moved back to the Fall River area.

Doula work seemed to fall right into my lap. The first day of my doula training I knew I was right where I needed to be. My birth experience seemed like it had a purpose: to guide me on the path that has given my life infinite meaning and fulfillment. My passion for this work is never ending and so I will always continue learning, reading, and educating myself to be the best doula that I can be. In 2021 I had a beautiful undisturbed and physiological homebirth and would love to support other birthers on that journey.
