Who I Support and Free Consultation
I support Fall River and New Bedford areas, from Boston to Providence, Cape Cod, and also virtual support during the Covid-19 pandemic. I offer one free consultation where we can get to know each other and see if it's a good fit.
Phone & Email Support
I offer phone and email support from the time we sign the contract until the contract is terminated. During my "on call" time I will be available 24/7.
2-3 Prenatal Visits
We will have at least 2 and up to 3 prenatal appointments where we will discuss more in depth your ideal birth, a birth plan, and labor and birth techniques, both emotional and physical. I will also include your birth partner and how I will support them and help them to support you.
During labor
I will go on call 2 weeks before your due date and will be reachable 24/7. Within a few hours of you informing me that you may be going into labor (or at your request) I will provide in-person support in your home, virtually, or at the hospital. I will also stay for up to two hours after your birth and for your baby's first feed.
1-2 Postpartum Visits
I will visit you at least once and up to 2 times during the first 4 weeks after your birth. I will provide nonclinical breastfeeding support as well as nonclinical emotional support. If at the end of our contract you still feel that you need more support I can refer you to local specialists, support groups, and evidence based information.
Fertility Support
I am currently enrolled in the Sacred Living University Fertility Doula program. It is something I have been passionate about for quite some time. If you are trying to conceive, trying to avoid conception, or just want to be more in touch with your body and womb, please reach out. Contracts and payment will differ from client to client. I offer a free consultation for this service as well.
Postpartum Doula Services
Postpartum is often a forgotten time. While everyone is taking care of the baby, someone must also support and nourish the mother. I offer postpartum support which includes nourishing meals, sibling care, breastfeeding support, newborn care, herbal baths, and so much more. I would like to meet with you at least once during your pregnancy to help prepare you for that time. I have a one time sign on fee and then I work at an hourly rate.
Miscarriage and Pregnancy Release
I am a Full Spectrum Doula and I support all pregnancies and births. I am currently working through Samantha Zipporah's Miscarriage and Abortion Skill-share. This support will look different for everyone and is extremely personal. This service can include a range of things from support, holding space, food, herbal teas & herbal baths to rides to and from abortions and accessing funds.
